Job summary

Leo Facilities Maintenance is seeking a Facilities Manager I to lead a portfolio of client accounts within the Repair & Maintenance team from our Wall Township, NJ location. You will drive on-time work order completion, coordinate vendors across trades, and mentor a team to maintain consistency and client satisfaction.

The role requires strong organization, effective communication, and readiness for occasional travel and after-hours support.

Qualifications

• A degree with three years’ experience in Facilities Maintenance/Project Management.
• Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience or equivalent.
• Willingness to expand knowledge and proficiency in work management tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor Facilities Associate Managers, providing training and evaluations.
• Oversee client accounts, ensuring SLAs are met for work orders and communication.
• Support coordinators to source, select, and dispatch vendors for multi-trade work orders.
• Review and approve price quotes; ensure accurate job scoping.
• Monitor work order status in internal and client systems for completeness.
• Assist with client escalations and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with the Sr. Manager of Operations on process improvements.
• Assist with client onboarding and maintenance of client resources.
• Ensure vendor compliance with insurance, safety, and contract requirements.
• Participate in rotational after-hours coverage including emergency dispatch.

Summary

This position is responsible for (1) providing day-to-day leadership for a portfolio of client accounts within the Repair & Maintenance (R&M) operations team, (2) ensuring timely work order completion, vendor coordination, and client satisfaction, (3) leading a small to mid-sized team of Facilities Associate Managers and/or Coordinators to maintain operational consistency, and (4) supporting escalation resolution and process improvements to enhance overall performance. This position requires strong organizational skills, occasional travel, and flexibility for after-hours support.

Job Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic skills in a work management system, proficiency in MS Office skills, and the willingness to expand their knowledge.
