Job summary

Cambridge Air Solutions in Chesterfield, Missouri, is seeking a Facilities Manager to own and optimize our manufacturing and office environments. You will oversee safety, maintenance, and long-term asset value across multiple sites and report to the CFO.

The role requires hands-on leadership, budget discipline, and the ability to manage 20+ vendors, lead capital projects, and ensure compliance with safety standards to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in facilities or building maintenance, preferably in manufacturing.
• Hands-on leader with ability to guide teams and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Experience managing maintenance programs, procurement, and safety compliance.
• Ability to plan, budget, and execute capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, clean, functional facilities across all properties.
• Conduct routine inspections and establish preventive maintenance schedules.
• Personally perform basic maintenance tasks (minor repairs, bulbs, fixtures, painting).
• Develop a system for internal maintenance requests and tracking.
• Manage annual facilities budget requests and execution.
• Manage relationships with 20+ external service providers (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, etc.).
• Issue RFPs and negotiate contracts; approve invoices to ensure on-time delivery.
• Hold vendors accountable to safety, quality, and performance expectations.
• Coordinate responsibilities between internal teams and third parties.
• Propose, budget, and manage facility capital projects; ensure safe, on-time execution.
• Champion safety and compliance; coordinate inspections for fire protection systems and other regulated building systems.
• Lead property insurance renewals and risk reviews; document facilities-related items.
