Job summary

Rincon Family Services is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations, maintenance, safety, and improvements for its Chicagoland facilities. The role reports to the Facilities Director and requires bilingual English/Spanish communication to support diverse programs.

The position manages budgets, schedules, and project coordination, ensuring timely, cost-effective results while maintaining compliance with safety standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Demonstrated experience in facilities management, building operations, construction, maintenance, project coordination, or a related field.
• Ability to read and understand contracts, proposals, scopes of work, budgets, and project documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience tracking projects and communicating project status to leadership.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations, maintenance, safety, and improvement of organizational facilities and grounds.
• Coordinate facility-related projects and supervise work schedules.
• Monitor budgets and expenses; ensure projects are completed safely and on time.
• Provide regular status reports on project budgets, facility needs, and upcoming activities.
• Lead facility team meetings and oversee staff scheduling for appropriate facility coverage.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, architects, and engineers on renovation and construction projects.
