Job summary

Syngene invites applications for a Manager - Facilities to lead the Facility Services group, overseeing maintenance, manufacturing support, metrology, and planning. The role requires ensuring equipment and infrastructure stay in control and compliant with cGMP standards across the site.

The successful candidate will drive safety, manage budgets, and coordinate cross-functional teams to support capital initiatives and plant equipment expertise. Strong leadership and SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• The role requires leadership with accountability for Facility Services.
• Experience in a biopharmaceutical environment and cGMP awareness.
• Budgeting, scheduling and cross-functional coordination are essential.
• Strong communication and auditing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Facility Services group.
• Oversee General Maintenance, Manufacturing Support, Metrology, and Facility Resource Planning.
• Ensure facility systems meet regulatory and quality standards (cGMP).
• Manage Deviations, CAPAs, SOP revisions, and Change Control within Quality Systems.
• Provide safety leadership and enforce applicable policies and regulations.
• Plan goals, allocate resources, and manage departmental budgets.
• Coordinate cross-functional shutdowns for preventive maintenance and audits.
