Swanson Health Products in Fargo, ND is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead a 24/7 maintenance team responsible for keeping equipment up and running, maximizing uptime, and ensuring safe, productive operations.

The role requires a BS in Engineering/Management, 3–5 years in maintenance, strong leadership and planning skills, and experience with PM systems, cGMP, OSHA, and capital projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Management, Production Systems, or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in maintenance or a related facilities/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase power, HVAC, and water treatment.
• Experience with computerized preventive-maintenance and spare-parts systems.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and people-leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure department maintains high quality work and productivity; plan and achieve goals.
• Develop and implement policies and tools for work orders and cGMP documents.
• Maintain safety standards per OSHA; ensure safe work environment.
• Provide operational advice and schedule manpower for projects and day-to-day ops.
• Drive continuous improvements for productivity and cost reduction.
• Develop and manage an annual department budget.
• Maintain spare parts inventory accuracy and supplier relationships.
• Evaluate capital expenditures as needed.
• Train personnel on machines/systems and safety practices.
• Participate in new facility and production system launches.
