Job summary

Repligen Corporation in Clifton Park, NY, is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the safe, reliable operation of the manufacturing facility, utilities, and building infrastructure, coordinating with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and EHS to maintain continuity.

This hands-on leadership role requires ownership, urgency, and strong technical capability in a fast-paced bioprocessing environment, with emphasis on safety, compliance, and energy efficiency, and participation in on-call support.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive Facilities, industrial maintenance, facilities engineering, or manufacturing experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong mechanical and electro-mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, controls, and industrial equipment.
  • Experience supporting ISO-classified cleanrooms, including HVAC/environmental controls, pressure cascades, HEPA filtration, and qualification/requalification.
  • Experience with BMS, CMMS, preventive maintenance, calibration, and GMP environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily Facilities and maintenance operations, prioritizing safety, compliance, reliability, and manufacturing needs.
  • Lead and develop Facilities personnel and coordinate contractors and service providers.
  • Maintain reliable operation of HVAC/BMS, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, mechanical, life-safety, and security systems.
  • Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting support for manufacturing equipment, including injection molding, silicone extrusion, and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Manage CMMS activities including preventive/corrective maintenance, calibrations, work orders, asset records, and critical spare parts.
  • Coordinate emergency repairs, equipment recovery, shutdowns, and on-call Facilities support.
  • Manage vendors, contractors, landlords, service agreements, and related costs and performance.
  • Manage Facilities and capital projects from scope development through execution, commissioning, qualification, and closeout.
  • Support Quality and compliance systems including deviations, CAPAs, change controls, qualification, SOPs, work instructions, and audit readiness.
  • Support site safety programs including LOTO, NFPA 70E, contractor safety, and emergency response.
  • Manage Facilities operating expenses, capital budgets, purchasing, and vendor commitments.
  • Drive facility reliability, continuous improvement, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Support site security, access control, cameras, and associated systems.

Job description

We are currently hiring a Facilities Manager. The Facilities Manager is responsible for the safe, compliant, reliable, and efficient operation of the Clifton Park manufacturing facility, utilities, production support equipment, and building infrastructure.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong ownership, urgency, technical capability, and adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Facilities Manager leads site Facilities operations while partnering with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, EHS, and site leadership to maintain operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting ISO-classified cleanrooms, including HVAC/environmental controls, pressure cascades, HEPA filtration, and qualification/requalification.
  • Experience with BMS, CMMS, preventive maintenance, calibration, and GMP environments.
  • Experience managing vendors, contractors, projects, and operating/capital budgets.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and coordinate resources during changing operational priorities.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, LOTO, NFPA 70E, and applicable safety requirements.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and experience working with computerized maintenance and business systems.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ownership, urgency, accountability, organization, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining safety, compliance, reliability, and customer support.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to participate in on-call/emergency support.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical discipline preferred. Equivalent technical education, skilled-trade training, certifications, and relevant industrial experience will be considered.
  • Trade licensing or advanced experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls/PLC, or related disciplines is preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to access manufacturing, Facilities, and mechanical areas, including stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required for equipment and facility inspections.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to respond to facility or equipment emergencies as required.

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $119,000 - $146,300.

Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
