Job summary

Lincoln Tech's soon-to-open Rowlett, TX campus seeks a technically sharp Facilities Manager who takes ownership of a building and everything in it. You will oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems, ensuring proactive maintenance and compliance.

Responsibilities include vendor relationships, campus procurement, emergency protocols, and security measures. Experience with OSHA standards and safety software is a plus, with growth opportunities in a nationally recognized organization.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related field is required.
• Hands-on experience managing building systems and safety programs.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and fire safety procedures.
• Comfort operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ensure safety inspections and compliance with codes and OSHA standards.
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships and service agreements.
• Coordinate campus procurement and budgeting with leadership.
• Implement emergency preparedness and security protocols.
• Supervise installation or repair of wiring, electrical, or plumbing work.

Lincoln Tech's soon-to-open Rowlett, TX, campus needs a technically sharp Facilities Manager who takes real ownership of a building and everything in it. If you know your way around HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems — and you're the kind of person who spots a problem before it becomes one — we want to hear from you.

What You'll Own

• Day-to-day operation and maintenance of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
• Safety inspections and full compliance with state, local, fire, and building codes, including OSHA standards
• Vendor and contractor relationships — sourcing, negotiating, and managing service agreements
• Campus procurement and budget management in partnership with the Campus President
• Emergency preparedness and security protocols
• Oversight of any wiring, electrical, plumbing, and equipment installation or repair

What You Bring

• Hands-on technical knowledge of building systems — HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical
• 3 years of facilities or building management experience
• Associate's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with fire safety, OSHA standards, and emergency preparedness
• Comfort operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and similar equipment safely
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and facilities or campus safety software
• Background in criminal justice, fire service, or safety and prevention is a plus
