Job summary

The Chamberlain Group LLC seeks an experienced facilities leader to develop and manage multi-site facilities programs and roadmaps. You will oversee budgeting, capital planning, and major capital projects across sites, driving standardization and efficiency.

You will lead energy management, safety compliance, and vendor relations, collaborating with executive leadership to align facilities strategy with corporate goals.

Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of building management experience across multi-site facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience leading budgeting, forecasting and capital planning for multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage multi-site facilities plans, procedures, and roadmap.
  • Oversee capital projects, renovations, expansions, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Drive energy management and sustainability initiatives across sites.
  • Provide facilities SME guidance to site supervisors and leadership.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and RFP processes.

Our flagship brands, LiftMaster and Chamberlain , are found in 51+ million homes, and 14 million+ people rely on the myQ app daily.Develop and manage multi-site physical sites programs and drive standardizationDevelop and manage multi-site facilities plans and procedures.Develop and manage multi-site preventative maintenance and compliance programsAssist Facilities Director in developing and leading company facilities strategy and multi-year roadmapAssist Facilities Director in multi-site budgeting, forecasting, and capital planningOversee capital projects including renovations, expansions, and infrastructure upgradesDrive and report on multi-site key performance metrics such as cost per SF, uptime, WO completion, PM completion, cost efficiency and service levels.Drive and report on multi-site energy management & sustainability initiativesOversees operation and optimization of company’s HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and security systemsManage vendor relationships, contracts, and RFP processesEnsure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, AHJ, ISO and regulatory requirementsLead emergency response and risk mitigation programsDrive workplace experience initiatives including strategic space planning and servicesUse independent judgment to prioritize investments, manage risk, and allocate resourcesCommunicating with executive leadership and external partners to ensure operational needs are metProvide leadership and act as a facilities SME for sites supervisorsManage relationship with local governmental jurisdiction of authority on permits, code interpretation, operations, fire, safety and police mattersThorough knowledge of building, land, local & fire safety standards and regulations (OSHA, NFPA, etc.)Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and executive leadership team membersComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team membersDrive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policiesMaintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communicationsLead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the CG mission, vision and values.Minimum QualificationsEducation/Certifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Management, Facilities Management, Construction, Property Management and/or CFM/FMP/CPM CertificationExperience:8-10 years of relevant building management work experienceExperience managing large-scale multi-site facilities operationsExperience managing multiple location propertiesKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:In-depth knowledge of facilities management and operations softwareEffective strategic planning capabilities, including the ability to establish long-term vision and goals, and align/manage activities toward goal fulfillmentStrong leadership, financial acumen, technical knowledge and understanding of HVAC/electrical/fire protection/security systems, and proficiency in facilities/workplace management software.Other:Ability to travel up to 40%Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license; ability to work weekend and off-shift hoursPreferred QualificationsEducation/Certifications:CFM, FMP, CPM or PMP CertificationOSHA General Industry & Construction 10 & 30Stationary EngineerExperience: LEED AP, CEM, CMMS/Workplace/Security platform experienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Other: Membership in industry related organizations (IFMA, NFPA, BOMA, etc.)The pay range for this position is $102,600.00 - $165,375.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
