Job summary

Sorrel River Ranch Resort & Spa in Moab, Utah, seeks a hands-on Facilities Manager to keep the luxury ranch safe, beautiful, and running smoothly. You will oversee daily maintenance, property systems, budgets, and a teams across grounds and facilities.

We value strong leadership, excellent communication, and a passion for outdoor work on a large working ranch and riverfront destination. On-site housing may be available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities management experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and safety regulations.
• Experience managing teams, budgets, vendors and contractors.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and facilities software.
• Water plant and pool certifications required.
• Comfortable working outdoors and throughout a large property.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Conduct regular property and safety inspections.
• Manage pools, spas, water systems, and required certifications.
• Lead maintenance, grounds and garden/farm teams.
• Schedule and oversee contractors and vendors.
• Manage facilities budgets, expenses and purchasing.
• Coordinate renovations, property projects and improvements.
• Ensure permits, safety procedures and emergency protocols remain current.
• Promote energy conservation, sustainability and responsible resource use.
• Work closely with department leaders to keep the ranch operating smoothly.
• Step in, solve problems, and support the team wherever needed.

We’re looking for a hands-on, organized, and resourceful Facilities Manager to keep our property safe, beautiful, and running smoothly.

Position Overview

The Facilities Manager oversees daily maintenance, property systems, vendors, projects, budgets and facilities teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, leading people, and taking ownership of a beautiful and unique property.

Position Responsibilities
