Job summary

The Dartmouth Group is seeking a Facilities Manager for its community in Bourne, MA. You will oversee maintenance tasks including exterior carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to keep the property well‑maintained and safe.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, landscapes, lighting, fixtures, and safety compliance. A high school diploma and 2+ years of maintenance experience are required, with excellent communication and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of general, residential maintenance experience.
• Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
• Customer service focused and team oriented.
• Self-motivated, proactive, takes initiative, with strong follow-up skills.
• Knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements; OSHA worksite and safety requirements.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure the building is properly maintained.
• Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems & equipment as needed.
• Landscaping: prune and cut-back trees and bushes; light fence repair.
• Carpentry: drywall, paint, patch, repair, roof patch and light repair.
• Light electrical: change out light bulbs, light fixtures, light sockets, and photocell light sensors.
• Janitorial: take out trash and general cleaning.
• Conduct pool water testing. Willingness to obtain CPO, company paid.
• Other projects as requested.
