Job summary

EUV Tech in Martinez, CA is hiring a Facilities Manager to lead the facilities team across offices, cleanrooms, and warehouse. You will manage vendors, develop preventive maintenance programs, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires hands-on capability, strong leadership, and a drive for continuous improvement.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and supervise contractors to maximize uptime and reliability of all facility systems.

Qualifications

  • Education and 2+ years in facility management, including supervisory roles.
  • Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, cleanrooms, security).
  • Ability to read architectural designs and building codes.
  • Willingness to respond to facility emergencies outside normal hours.
  • Strong organization, problem solving and communication skills.
  • California Driver’s License in good standing.
  • Proficiency with G-Suite or Office 365 including email/calendar.
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Install/repair equipment and assist with furniture, gas cylinders, and moves.
  • Coordinate contractors for upgrades, repairs, and inspections.
  • Develop and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Assist with budgets, forecasting, and capital project planning.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and meticulous record-keeping.

About the Role

As the newest member of the Facilities Team, you will oversee all aspects of facility operations and maintenance for EUV Tech’s offices, cleanrooms, warehouse, and grounds. You will lead the Facilities Team, manage vendor relationships, develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires advanced technical and hands‑on knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in facility management practices.

Candidates should be self‑motivated, resourceful, curious, proactive and adaptable. They can identify problems, provide and implement solutions and work in a team‑oriented environment. This employee should be able to prioritize tasks effectively, punctually, and reliably. Time‑management skills are essential for this role.

Reporting Line

This position reports to the Associate Director, Operations.

Your Role
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Facilities Team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee daily operations and maintenance of all facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, cleanrooms, and security.
  • Provide facility support including hands‑on maintenance and cleanliness of warehouse areas, cleanrooms, common areas, and grounds.
  • Hands on work can include not is not limited to:
  • Install small equipment such as portable chillers, vacuum pumps, etc.
  • Maintenance or cleaning of facility systems.
  • Assemble, install, or move furniture, or other equipment.
  • Install and rotate gas cylinders.
  • Troubleshoot equipment or appliance problems and provide opinions of cause and resolutions. Complete or manage repair vendors as appropriate.
  • Oversee or assist with facility improvement projects from conception through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance. programs to maximize equipment uptime and facility reliability.
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors for facility upgrades, repairs, and compliance inspections.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facility‑related issues, providing timely communication and resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support engineering and office needs.
  • Assist with facility budgets, including forecasting, cost control, and capital project planning.
  • Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, environmental, and building codes.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and compliance documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Required)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in facility management, including supervisory or managerial roles in a commercial, manufacturing, or high‑tech environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, cleanroom operations, security, and safety systems)
  • Knowledge of architectural designs, building codes, and blueprints.
  • Ability to follow engineering specifications and statements of work for a wide range of facility related projects.
  • Ability to respond to facility emergencies outside of regular business hours.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, develop solutions, and implement best practices.
  • Willingness to pitch in and help wherever needed, regardless of the task.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism under stressful situations in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and collaborative work style.
  • Strong ownership and proactive problem anticipation and resolution.
  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
  • Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods at a given time; reach, grasping, climb (ladders & elevated areas at times), kneel, bend, push and/or pull, and at times lift objects as heavy as 50lbs required.
  • California Driver’s License in good standing
  • Proficiency with G-Suite or Office 365 including email, calendar
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications (Bonus to Have)
  • Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, or GMP facility environments.
  • Experience with JIRA or similar ticketing systems.
  • Forklift and scissor lift certification, or willingness to become certified.
  • Experience with hoists and cranes, or willingness to become certified.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CFM, FMP, PMP, LEED AP).
Position Details

The annual salary range for this full-time position is $110,000 - $125,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and EUV Tech's location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the respective role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by the following factors: job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
