**Description**
Summary: The Facilities Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day and yearly updates and changes to the facilities to ensure buildings, surrounding areas, and capital equipment are properly maintained and within budget to keep a high standard for the best customer experience. The candidate should be self-motivated to achieve a highly organized facilities team output.
Time Utilization: Normal business hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm. Schedule needs to be flexible to accommodate internal schedules, on-call emergency situations that require after hours, or weekend support may be required. Travel internationally up to 5% may be required.

Education/Experience: Associate's degree in construction management or related field and ten years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years facilities management experience required. Experience in facilities space planning is a plus. Strong working knowledge of and hands-on experience in at least 2 trades such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or machinery maintenance.
Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, journals, technical procedures, and regulations. Ability to write reports, correspondence, and manuals. Effective communication skills for small and large audiences.
Math Ability: Ability to perform basic mathematical operations, compute ratios, percentages, and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret technical instructions and handle multiple variables.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP ERP, and internet research.
Certificates and Licenses: Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport for travel.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversee facilities staff, manage budgets, assign tasks, and ensure objectives are met. Responsible for hiring, training, performance appraisal, and discipline. Also oversee third-party service providers.
Work Environment: May include exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet conditions, fumes, and chemicals. Noise levels vary from quiet office to moderate in some areas.
Physical Demands: Regular walking, handling, reaching, climbing, stooping, and lifting. Visual acuity required.
