Job summary

Randstad is seeking a skilled Facilities & Maintenance Specialist to oversee the maintenance, upkeep, and reliability of manufacturing equipment and infrastructure across two facility locations. This hands-on role emphasizes building and driving organized preventive maintenance (PM) tracking programs and coordinating routine repairs.

You will maintain equipment histories, schedules, and service records, and establish plans based on manuals, history, and production needs.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in facilities/maintenance roles.
• Experience with PM and CMMS/tools is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate external vendors and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an organized maintenance tracking and preventive maintenance program for equipment and facilities across both locations.
• Inventory and document manufacturing equipment and facility assets requiring routine maintenance.
• Create and maintain equipment histories, preventive maintenance schedules, inspection checklists, and service records.
• Establish maintenance schedules based on equipment manuals, manufacturer recommendations, operating history, and production requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance tracking and recommend appropriate CMMS or maintenance management tools as the program develops.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure within the employee's training, qualifications, and level of authorization.
• Coordinate qualified outside service providers when specialized repairs or technical expertise are required.
• Support the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, and facility systems across both locations.
• Identify maintenance concerns and help prioritize repairs to minimize equipment downtime and operational disruptions.

salary: $62,400 - $72,800 per year
