Qualifications

• 4 years related restaurant facilities experience.
• Experience in facilities management, HVAC, kitchen equipment and/or refrigeration.
• Minimum of seven years in all phases of commercial/multi-unit facilities management.
• Proficient with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to develop and follow processes.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with contractors and customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Facilities Manager will perform facilities project management, including timely repair/maintenance review, bid review, construction/repair coordination. Works within assigned budgetary parameters to ensure facility assets are maintained to brand standards. Exercises independent judgment and provides consultative advice to internal and external in facilities maintenance project management.

ESSENTIAL JJOB FUNCTIONS

• 4 years related restaurant facilities experience
• Experience in facilities management, HVAC, kitchen equipment and/or refrigeration or related areas
• A minimum of seven years of experience in all phases of commercial/multi-unit facilities management
• Proficiency in project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to develop and follow processes are essential.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with contractors, internal & external customers, company management
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both in written words and verbally, and use e-mail constructively.
• Exercise independently and sound judgment to make fact-based decisions.
• Ability to work independently from written and/or verbal instructions.
• Must pay strong attention to detail and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel of up to 50% is required along with the ability to work and travel during irregular hours as needed.
• Consults and coordinates with restaurant operators to identify repair or maintenance requirements for restaurant operational critical items, including pizza oven, HVAC, fryers, ovens, and walk in coolers.
• Manages all major repairs and bid phases to complete repair/replacement of each project to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance.
• Scheduling and supervising maintenance and repair tasks, coordinating contracted services, and ensuring that our facilities meet company standards.
• Hands-on engagement: Complete maintenance and repair tasks that are needed within each of the locations.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and administrative abilities. Maintain a detailed log of all repairs and maintenance work, prioritizing critical projects to ensure optimal facility performance.
• Conducts identification and reuse/reallocation of equipment to existing stores.
• Completing service requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Perform routine building and systems upkeep and repairs as well as scheduled PM's of the buildings and mechanical systems..
• Estimating, costing, and ordering materials to complete work assignments
• Respond to all emergency maintenance requests at any time
• Be courteous, professional and organized.
• Performs other duty as assigned.

FACILITY & GENERAL MAINTENANCE

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdown to reduce operational disruptions.
• Perform light plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building repairs as needed.
• Maintain tools and parts inventory and service records.
• Participates in the RFMA (Restaurant Facilities Management Association)
• Knowledge or work experience with Service Channel ..

SAFETY & COMPLIANCE

• Follow OSHA, health department, and Giordano’s safety guidelines.
• Document all repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
• Recommend process or equipment improvements to reduce future breakdowns.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to lift 50# lbs, work on ladders, and perform tasks in hot/cold environments.
• Standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.

Salary - $90,000 - $110,000
