Job summary

W3Global is seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee daily maintenance, safety, and operations across multiple properties. You will coordinate vendors, contractors, and staff to ensure facilities are safe, clean, and ready for daily use and community events.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in facilities maintenance, strong problem-solving and organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, facilities operations, property management, building maintenance, or related field.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, or service providers.
  • Hands-on ability to perform minor repairs and troubleshoot maintenance issues.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of facilities, grounds, equipment, and properties.
  • Coordinate maintenance, custodial, landscaping, security, and other facility services.
  • Perform minor repairs and troubleshoot routine maintenance issues.
  • Conduct regular property and facility inspections and address safety, maintenance, and appearance concerns.
  • Coordinate vendors, contractors, property managers, and service providers.
  • Schedule service calls, obtain bids, monitor contractor work, and ensure projects are completed properly and on time.
  • Maintain facility equipment inventories, maintenance records, and replacement schedules.
  • Coordinate apartment turns, inspections, and property readiness.
  • Support facility budgets, capital improvement projects, and long-term maintenance planning.
  • Prepare meeting rooms, training spaces, volunteer events, and special programs.
  • Work with staff, volunteers, and community partners on facility improvement and cleanup projects.
  • Support emergency preparedness, safety, and risk management activities.
  • Respond to urgent maintenance issues and occasional after-hours facility emergencies.

About The Position

Requirements

  • Experience with facility budgeting, capital improvements, or long-term maintenance planning.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and work throughout the day.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable using ladders, maintenance tools, and basic power tools.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to travel between properties.
  • Availability for occasional after-hours emergencies.
