  • Oversee vendors, contractors, capital projects and construction activity, including infection control (ICRA)
  • Manage the department budget and plan for future capital needs
  • Lead emergency preparedness, fire safety and hazardous materials programs
  • Work closely with hospital senior leadership and regional facilities leaders
What you bring:
  • A bachelor's degree and/or 5-7 years of hospital maintenance and/or construction experience in a healthcare setting
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience
  • 5 years of current experience operating facility equipment and systems in a healthcare institution: chillers, steam boilers, hydraulic systems, building controls, electrical and air handlers
  • Broad knowledge of TJC, OSHA, EPA, NFPA and other federal, state and local regulatory standards
  • Leadership skills to guide a diverse team with varying abilities and skill levels
  • A valid driver's license
  • Preferred: CHFM certification, and membership in a state or national healthcare engineering association (e.g., ASHE)
