Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Facilities Management Co-op to join the Engineering & Property Services team in Cincinnati, OH. The role provides hands-on experience in facilities engineering, maintenance, and capital projects within an R&D and GxP-regulated environment.

The co-op runs January to July 2027, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. You will gain exposure to HVAC, power, and building systems, plus sustainability initiatives and dashboard/reporting development.

Qualifications

• Must be an undergraduate student in good standing (Freshman year completed).
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with GPA 3.0+.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel and PowerPoint emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of site master plans and facility improvement initiatives.
• Update and maintain building drawings, utility maps, and facility documentation using AutoCAD.
• Support facilities and engineering teams with capital project planning, execution, and project tracking.
• Participate in infrastructure assessments involving HVAC, refrigeration, fire protection, electrical, and building systems.
• Attend project meetings, document meeting minutes, track action items, and support follow-up activities.
• Assist with vendor coordination, contractor oversight, and workplace improvement projects.
• Support GxP documentation activities including change controls, preventive maintenance records, qualification support, and facility documentation.
• Contribute to sustainability and decarbonization initiatives and other continuous improvement projects.
• Prepare and deliver presentations summarizing project status, recommendations, and key findings.
• Support strategic campus planning, space optimization, infrastructure renewal, workplace experience initiatives, and sustainability projects.
