Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Facilities Management Co-op from January to July 2027. The position is full-time (40 hours/week) on the Engineering & Property Services team supporting the R&D campus.

You will gain hands-on experience in facilities engineering, capital projects, workplace services, and GxP documentation within a regulated environment, with exposure to HVAC, electrical, and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year is required.
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Architecture, Construction, Management, or related fields.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must not have any Summer Internship contract or other employment commitment that could interfere with the contract dates.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of site master plans and facility improvement initiatives.
• Update and maintain building drawings, utility maps, and facility documentation using AutoCAD.
• Support facilities and engineering teams with capital project planning, execution, and project tracking.
• Participate in infrastructure assessments involving HVAC, refrigeration, fire protection, electrical, and building systems.
• Attend project meetings, document meeting minutes, track action items, and support follow-up activities.
• Assist with vendor coordination, contractor oversight, and workplace improvement projects.
• Support GxP documentation activities including change controls, preventive maintenance records, qualification support, and facility documentation.
• Contribute to sustainability and decarbonization initiatives and other continuous improvement projects.
• Prepare and deliver presentations summarizing project status, recommendations, and key findings.
• Support strategic campus planning, space optimization, infrastructure renewal, workplace experience initiatives, and sustainability projects.
