Job summary

PCI Pharma Services is seeking a Facilities Worker II - Electrical Field for 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 8 am–4 pm) in Philadelphia. The role requires hands-on electrical skills, HVAC knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair facility systems while coordinating with vendors and SME support.

Ideal candidates will have recognized electrical training, experience with power distribution, and familiarity with Honeywell Station modules to manage the plant’s critical infrastructure reliably.

Qualifications

  • Official/recognized electrical education/training including low and high voltage.
  • Good understanding of PCI facilities equipment including HVAC, air compressors, ASRS, and warehouse.
  • Knowledge of Honeywell Station modules: HVAC, Utilities, Security, and Fire.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot electrical faults in facilities equipment to major component level.
  • Perform electrical repairs with support for more complex repairs.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on facilities equipment and HVAC systems.
  • Support training of Facilities Worker 1 and collaborate with vendors as needed.

Facilities Worker II - Electrical Field - 1st shift Monday through Friday 8 am - 4 pm

  • Meets all Facilities Worker 1 requirements, has Electrical background and:
1.1. Has an official/recognized Electrical education/training including low and high voltage.
1.2. Has a good understanding of all PCI Facilities Equipment including HVAC, Air Compressors, ASRS, and Warehouse.
1.3. Has a good understanding of Honeywell Station modules: HVAC, Utilities, Security, and Fire.
1.3.1. Has a good knowledge of Facilities Power distribution system.
1.4. Has a good knowledge of control systems.
1.5. Has a good knowledge of all PCI Facilities Equipment including HVAC, Air Compressors, ASRS, and Warehouse.
1.6. Has a good knowledge of Honeywell Station modules: HVAC, Utilities, Security, and Fire.
1.6.1.1. Able to retrieve main data.
1.7. Able to electrically troubleshoot all Facilities Equipment/Systems to the major component level with support of equipment owners.
1.8. Able to perform electrical repairs of all Facilities Equipment (with support of Facilities Worker 3 or Vendors for more complicated repairs).
1.9. Performs all electrical Preventive Maintenance work (with Facilities Worker 3 or Vendors for more complicated PM’s).
1.10. Able to train and support Facilities Worker 1.
Facilities Worker 1
  • Has an official/recognized technical education/training.
  • Knows all PCI buildings and grounds.
  • Able to recognize and manage work priorities.
  • Team player and able to take directions from management and higher level workers.
  • Able to identify and order all needed parts using PCI ordering system.
  • Able to lead repairs from start to completion.
  • Able to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Able to paint, spackle, repair walls at medium project level (entire production suite).
  • Able to perform plumbing repairs and fixtures replacement at medium project level.
  • Able to perform carpentry repairs at medium project level.
  • Able to assembly/disassemble and install furniture at medium project level.
  • Has a rigging abilities including heavy equipment relocation at medium project level.
  • Performs Preventive Maintenance of Air Handlers.
  • Has a basic electrical training allowing basic electrical troubleshooting.
  • Trained and able to weld.
  • Has a basic Locksmith abilities including making keys.
  • Able to work directly with vendors on equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and projects.
  • Has a good understanding of Facilities Equipment including Air Handlers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Boilers, Air Compressors, Dehumidifiers, Humidifiers, and others.
  • Has a basic understanding of HVAC systems, Chilled Water systems, Hot Water systems, Compressed Air systems, Clean Air systems, and Electrical Power systems supporting listed above equipment/systems.
  • Able to perform basic troubleshooting of all Facilities Equipment/Systems listed above (power, faults, restarts).
  • Able to repair all Facilities Equipment listed above with support of SME’s or Vendors for more complicated repairs.
  • Performs all Preventive Maintenance with SME’s or vendors for more complicated PM’s.
  • Has a good understanding of Honeywell Station modules: HVAC, Fire, and Utilities.
23.1. Able to make temperature/humidity changes offered by the system at the Supervisor Security Level.
