The Tahoe Transportation District invites applications for a Fleet and Facilities Supervisor. You will plan, supervise and review maintenance of revenue buses, non-revenue vehicles, passenger amenities, facilities and equipment to ensure safety and readiness.
Under the Transit Program Manager you will lead technical staff, develop procedures, manage work orders, monitor budgets and procurement, and provide detailed reports and guidance to management.

Salary Range: $73,739 - $97,034
Under general direction, plans, schedules, assigns, reviews, and supervises the work of staff performing
repair and maintenance work on revenue buses and non-revenue fleet vehicles, passenger amenities,
owned/leased facilities, and equipment; provides detailed procedures to employees and responds to
technical questions from employees; inspects, repairs, maintains, and purchases parts and supplies associated
with repairs and maintenance of the fleet and facilities; develops, implements, and monitors safety and
performance training for assigned staff; ensures vehicle safety and readiness; provides complex staff
assistance to management staff in areas of expertise; and performs related work as required.
Receives general direction from the Transit Program Manager. Exercises direct supervision over technical
staff.
This is a full supervisory-level class that exercises independent judgment on diverse and specialized
facility and vehicle maintenance activities with accountability and ongoing decision-making
responsibilities associated with the work. Incumbents are responsible for the administration, planning,
organizing, supervising, reporting, reviewing, and evaluating the work of staff and providing technical
support to management in a variety of areas. Performance of the work requires the use of independence,
initiative, and discretion within established guidelines.
