Qualifications

Job description

Scope: Responsible for performing general building and grounds maintenance, including service repairs such as plumbing, electrical and drywall and seasonal maintenance such as salting walkways, snow and ice removal.Essential FunctionsPerform procedures for maintaining agency facilities, to include routine building maintenance, maintenance of building exteriors, and grounds keeping including snow removal and grass cutting.Perform procedures for routine maintenance and repair of the agency fleet vehicles.Install and repair electrical wiring, control circuits and electrical devices.Install and repair piping and plumbing fixtures.Replace broken windows, repair doors, door locks and closets.Maintain a positive attitude towards assigned work, clients, and staff, and a willingness to work with others.Perform work in a professional manner that upholds Wayne Metro’s policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements and Work EnvironmentBuilding/Custodial/Outside Sales/Contractor Exec. Work is performed inside and/or outside an office. The employee is frequently required to climb, bend, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk.
