Job summary

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a Building Maintenance Technician in Roanoke, VA. The role covers general building upkeep, repair of assets, and organization to keep facilities in good condition for customers and employees.

Starting pay ranges from $19 to $22 per hour, depending on experience and certifications. A company vehicle is provided for tool transport and storage across multiple locations in the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing or other trade skills required.
• Must have experience with repair/maintenance of household and commercial items ("handyman" type skills)
• Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs, climb a ladder and operate various power tools

Responsibilities

• Routine general maintenance and repair work such as light electrical, plumbing, painting, carpet/floor cleaning, and snow and ice removal
• Timely completion of work orders generated by call-in requests or preventive maintenance schedule
• Perform duties of the company’s preventative maintenance program
• Troubleshoot general problems
• Move items as needed (i.e. furniture, file cabinets, boxes, artwork etc.)
• Delivery of office and building supplies
• Small appliance and equipment installation (pressure washers, air compressors, etc…)
• Working outside in all types of weather and temperatures and in a typical office environment
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
