Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technical Support Specialist to join our engineering team in Columbus, IN. The role focuses on preventive maintenance of HVAC and building systems, assisting technicians, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with engineers and suppliers, fabricate fixtures as needed, and support test cell operations and equipment maintenance with attention to detail and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• One year of relevant experience required.
• School to work program experience in relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and preventive maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, and building systems.
• Assists Technicians with installation and maintenance of machine tools, tools, and equipment; supports testing.
• Fabricates fixtures and supports maintenance tasks as directed by technicians and engineers.
• Maintains safe and effective facilities and building systems; follows safety policies and procedures.
• Interfaces with customers, suppliers, engineers and other functions; participates in quality and improvement projects.
