Job summary

Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge in Minneapolis is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician. This role performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and facility support to keep properties safe and ready for service.

You will review priorities with a supervisor, inspect facilities and equipment, maintain records, follow OSHA and safety procedures, and coordinate with contractors. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a values-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• General maintenance experience in building operations or related field.
• Ability to read work orders and safety information.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Commitment to safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Must have a valid driver's license and insurability if driving is required.
• Demonstrates respectful, professional communication in a treatment setting.
• Background checks and DHS requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and facility support tasks.
• Review priorities with supervisor, meet deadlines, report delays.
• Inspect facilities, report hazards, and ensure safe operations.
• Use tools, maintain records for time, materials, and purchases.
• Follow safety procedures and coordinate access for contractors.
