Canteen, a unit of Compass Group USA, is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for a New Hyde Park, NY location. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial coffee machines and related equipment, with an emphasis on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates bring strong technical maintenance skills, familiarity with electrical/mechanical systems, and will work a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Salary ranges from $22 to $24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have solid maintenance technical skills and knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems.
• Requires formal trade schooling and journeyman licensing or equivalent.
• Experience in institutional/industrial maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain commercial coffee machines and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics and manuals.
• Read and interpret technical documents and records of repairs and parts.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with protocols.
• Provide basic customer-facing support when needed.
