Job summary

Walmart in Havre, MT is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair store facilities, equipment, and assets using plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling skills.

Under the supervision of the General Maintenance Manager, you will follow established maintenance schedules, conduct inspections, and respond to emergencies to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years or older.
• 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment).
• Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues; complete required training to operate tools safely.
