Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group in Arizona is seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance associate to support the Service Department. You will keep the shop clean, organize the Tool Room, and assist with shop projects, contributing to a safe and efficient environment.

The role is full-time with competitive pay of $22–$25 per hour plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with match, paid vacation, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• More than two years' experience in building maintenance.
• Supervision experience.
• Ability to use a wide range of tools and equipment.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily cleaning and organizing activities within the office and shop.
• Drains the oil pan carts into the oil waste barrels.
• Sweeping and floor scrubbing of shop bays and polishing floors.
• Organization and cleanliness of the Tool Room.
• Assists with special projects in the shop.
• Maintaining facility and lot in clean and marketable condition.
• Running errands for the company as needed.
• Performing additional job-related duties as needed.

What You’ll Do:

The Facility Maintenance will be assigned to various duties in the Service Department that interacts, participates, and assists in the effective operation of the shop. Facility Maintenance is responsible for the overall cleanliness and organization of the tool room and facility.

Job Duties:

• Performs daily cleaning and organizing activities within the office and shop
• Drains the oil pan carts into the oil waste barrels
• Sweeping and floor scrubbing of shop bays as well as polishing of floors
• Organization and cleanliness of the Tool Room
• Assists with special projects in the shop

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• More the two (2) years' experience in building maintenance

• Ability to use wide range of tools and equipment to repair and maintained building

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to pass post-offer drug screening, physical examination (including a lift test), and background check

Compensation:

• $22-$25/hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Full-time position
