Job summary

Servingschools is seeking a Maintenance III for districtwide facilities in Bangor, ME. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with CHRC check.

You will perform skilled maintenance, handle building trades, and work independently to organize assignments. This on-site role requires physical ability for heavy lifting and safe handling of hazardous materials, and familiarity with fire alarms, sprinkler and security systems, and campus phone networks.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have knowledge of building trades and experience as a skilled maintenance person.
• Ability to organize work assignments and work independently.
• Physical ability for full range of maintenance tasks, including heavy lifting.
• Ability to handle hazardous materials safely.
• Familiarity with fire alarms, sprinkler, security and phone systems for basic repairs.
