Job summary

The Metropolitan School District Washington Township, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician to support district-wide facilities with hands-on maintenance across trades, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and painting.

This hourly, non-exempt role involves working with the Maintenance team to ensure safe, functional buildings. Required is a high school diploma or equivalent and an Indiana driver’s license; CDL may be required after hiring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in general maintenance is preferred.
• Must have valid Indiana driver's license; CDL may be required after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance tasks across trades including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Assist with cleaning and repairs on maintenance equipment and vehicles.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain tools and vehicles.
