Job summary

The Sanneh Foundation in Saint Paul, MN is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of buildings, equipment, and grounds. This full-time role requires a broad maintenance skill set, strong troubleshooting abilities, and excellent customer service when interacting with staff, visitors, and vendors.

Responsibilities include routine repairs, preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and coordination with external contractors.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Two or more years of general maintenance or handyman experience is preferred.
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Ability to pass a background check if required.

Responsibilities

Perform routine building maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, drywall, and basic electrical work.
Conduct preventative maintenance on facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs.
Coordinate with outside contractors for repairs requiring specialized services.
Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
Keep accurate records of completed work, inspections, and inventory.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all applicable safety standards.
