Job summary

Walmart is looking for a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Polson, MT team. You will perform routine maintenance to ensure safe, functional, and well-kept facilities and assets, under supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities include inspections, repairs, and responding to emergencies while upholding Walmart's standards. This role offers growth in a dynamic retail environment and a clear path to impact the store community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of related trade experience or 2 years total in plumbing, electrical, or material handling equipment preferred.
• Vocational/technical certification with trade experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple crafts.
• Use work orders to log repairs and support stores and associates.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate tools safely.
