Walmart is hiring a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair store facilities and equipment in Billings, MT. You will follow established maintenance schedules, perform inspections, and assist Store teams to keep the environment safe and welcoming.

As part of a local team, you’ll operate under the General Maintenance Manager, using hand and power tools, and adhere to safety guidelines. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent ladder climbing and work at heights.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Trade certification with 1 year experience or 2 years total in plumbing, electrical, or related trades.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Receive and document repairs via work-order system to support stores and associates.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety and tool operation training.
