Job summary

Sierra Meat & Seafood is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the continuous operation of facility equipment and infrastructure. You will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to minimize downtime and support productivity.

Collaborate with other departments and vendors to coordinate activities with minimal business disruption, while upholding safety standards and regulatory compliance in a wholesale trade environment.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance experience in a wholesale trade or industrial setting.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate maintenance equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and other facility equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues promptly to reduce downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status for compliance and servicing planning.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations as needed.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
