Job summary

Embraer is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain buildings and facilities, utilizing analysis and experience for diagnostics and emergency repairs.

The role involves preventive maintenance, inspections, coordinating with engineers and vendors, and supporting set-up and removal of office furniture within large hangar spaces. A high school diploma and 3–5 years in facilities maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Facilities Maintenance.
• Experience in infrastructure maintenance incl. carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, welding, assembly and furniture setup/removal.

Responsibilities

• Provides preventive and cost-efficient repairs.
• Conduct routine or periodic inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery and equipment.
• Consults with engineers and vendors.
• Maintains and cleans, when necessary, the grounds, gardens and buildings.
• Assists with furniture set-up and office assembly/removal.
• Comfortable working in heights, lifts, or in large open hangar spaces.
