Yoh is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician for our pharmaceutical manufacturing client in Maryland Heights, Missouri. This contract-to-hire role supports preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and associated support equipment in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in Electrical Automation or a related technical field and 3+ years of hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training in a related field.
• 3+ years industrial, manufacturing, or facilities maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with AC/DC electrical systems, motors, controls, sensors, and equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use test equipment.
• On-site work during scheduled hours.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and inspections on schedule.
• Maintain manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and related equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systems.
• Document maintenance activities and verify equipment is safe and operational.

Yoh is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician for our pharmaceutical manufacturing client in Maryland Heights, Missouri.

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Pay Rate: $30.00-$32.00 per hour, depending on experience

Location: Maryland Heights, Missouri

Work Arrangement: Fully onsite

This position supports preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and associated support equipment within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on industrial or facilities maintenance experience, strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, and experience working with commercial or industrial HVAC systems.

Job Functions

• Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks, equipment inspections, and corrective work orders on schedule.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and associated support equipment.
• Respond to equipment and facility-related breakdowns and complete repairs in a manner that minimizes downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC-related systems.
• Support commercial or industrial HVAC equipment and associated controls through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot motors, VFDs, electrical controls, sensors, wiring, PLC/HMI-controlled equipment, and other electromechanical components.
• Work from electrical schematics, engineering drawings, equipment manuals, and written or verbal instructions.
• Support pumps, vacuum systems, plumbing, and other facility or manufacturing support systems.
• Use voltmeters, multimeters, and other test equipment to diagnose equipment failures.
• Document maintenance and repair activities and verify equipment is safe and operational before returning it to service.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Associate degree in Electrical Automation, Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Electrical Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent technical training.
• Three or more years of relevant industrial, manufacturing, or facilities maintenance experience.
• Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience troubleshooting AC/DC electrical systems, motors, controls, sensors, and industrial equipment.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, technical drawings, or equipment documentation.
• Experience using voltmeters, multimeters, and other electrical test equipment.
• Experience with pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work fully onsite during the scheduled hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with commercial or industrial HVAC systems, including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience with equipment such as RTUs, air handlers, chillers, compressors, HVAC controls, or Building Management Systems.
• EPA 608, HVAC, refrigeration, or related technical certification.
• Experience with PLC/HMI-controlled or automated manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with 3-phase or high-voltage industrial electrical systems.
• Experience with pumps, vacuum systems, plumbing, or facility utilities.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, food and beverage, medical device, chemical, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
