Job summary

You will perform routine and targeted repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and grounds, respond to hazards, and coordinate with vendors when needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in maintenance or facility operations; certificated trades are a plus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two or more years’ experience in maintenance or facility operations required; healthcare facility preferred.
Knowledge of standard and safe maintenance practices, procedures, and tools in general building trades.
Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner.

Responsibilities

Performs daily routine maintenance and repair on facilities and equipment (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical repair, painting).
Maintains safe, clean, and comfortable environment; completes work orders and hazard reports promptly.
Inspects and maintains emergency power equipment, generator weekly, fire alarm system, extinguishers, lighting, etc.
Coordinates with external contractors, on-call for emergencies, weekends as needed.
