Job summary

Maddox Industrial Transformer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the Facilities & Equipment team in the Greer, SC area. The role focuses on routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs across multiple sites within the local region.

The candidate should have strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing backgrounds, with good project coordination skills and the ability to collaborate with contractors when needed.

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing background.
• Ability to prioritize many tasks and manage multiple initiatives.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducting routine inspections of facilities and equipment.
• Performing prescribed preventive maintenance for facilities and equipment.
• Performing basic repairs of facilities and equipment as necessary.
• Coordinating contractors when repairs are beyond the capabilities of in‑house service.
• Being an onsite liaison for large projects on an as-needed basis.
• Other duties as assigned by the Facilities and Equipment Manager.
