Job summary

Long Center in Austin, Texas is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair all systems and equipment in a performing arts campus. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma and 3 years of facilities maintenance experience. Responsibilities include facility inspections, performing maintenance requests, and demonstrating knowledge of HVAC systems. Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• Registered Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facility, grounds, equipment, and furniture to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform and complete maintenance requests.
• Maintain records of maintenance work.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of commercial plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC equipment, lighting, and appliances.
