Job summary

IndyGo, Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to perform skilled trade work across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, in a union-represented, on-site role. The technician will maintain facilities, respond to maintenance requests, and support grounds operations.

Qualifications include at least two years in the maintenance field and a valid Indiana driver’s license. This is a safety-conscious, non-exempt, on-site opportunity with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years experience in the maintenance trade.
• Formal trade school or an associate degree in facility management, engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on building systems and grounds.
• Repairs and maintains electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
• Reads blueprints and schematics and maintains records of maintenance activities.
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoots issues.
