Job summary

Wisconsin Community Services in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Facilities Maintenance worker to perform general building and grounds maintenance at our program locations. You will ensure compliance with agency, contractual and regulatory requirements relating to facility upkeep and safety.

Responsibilities include identifying repair needs, prioritizing tasks, completing maintenance on schedule, responding to emergencies, and maintaining inventory of supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ work experience or training in building maintenance.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license, auto insurance and auto.
• Clear criminal and State Caregiver background check and health screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities to meet agency, contractual and regulatory standards.
• Identify repair needs and prioritize tasks; perform repairs as directed.
• Complete maintenance tasks on schedule; respond to emergencies.
• Purchase and inventory maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned; drive facilities vehicles as needed.
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings.
