Job summary

Hampton Inn Jacksonville-I-95 South is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to keep our facilities operating smoothly. You will perform routine inspections, address repairs, and implement preventative measures to maximize equipment uptime.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to respond to on-call requests during nights and weekends. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience.
• Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends.
• Must be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed
• Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs
• Take additional maintenance requests as assigned
• Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced
• Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks
