Job summary

Planned Companies’ clients’ properties are kept clean, secure, and welcoming with a variety of equipment requiring routine inspection, maintenance, and repair. Planned Companies Maintenance Services (PMS) is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join the team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years’ experience, strong plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills, and the ability to follow safety protocols and document work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a maintenance role.
• Strong plumbing, electrical and carpentry experience.
• Bilingual is preferred.
• Good listener and able to transmit information clearly.
• Reliable, highly organized with attention to detail.
• Flexible to work during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure preventive maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment; contact outside contractor when needed.
• Check boiler and hot water heaters for leaks and report to management.
• Schedule extermination procedures as necessary.
• Maintain social areas or amenities; ensure walkways are clear and salted during bad weather.
• Inventory mechanical/maintenance supplies and logs of work performed.
• Troubleshoot breakers, leaks, and water intrusion; repair doors, lighting, and fixtures.
• Maintain daily records and assist management with projects as requested.
