Job summary

Monarch Springs Wellness in University City, MO seeks a Maintenance Assistant to support environmental center compliance and general facility upkeep under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor or Plants Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, scheduling preventive maintenance, maintaining records, and performing routine repairs to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Knowledge of laundry/housekeeping/maintenance procedures.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular, scheduled safety inspections.
• Follows Life Safety and Preventative Maintenance tasks in TELS and documents as required.
• Prepares a monthly preventive maintenance schedule and prioritizes work orders.
• Maintains complete documentation of maintenance activities and replacement parts.
• Maintains electrical and mechanical equipment in good working order and cleans/changes filters as needed.
• Provides 24-hour on-call service to the nursing center in emergencies.
