Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance or building upkeep is preferred.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and repair knowledge.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Dependable, organized and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to lift and perform physical tasks as required.
• Valid driver's license may be required, depending on duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and maintenance throughout the facility, including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Troubleshoot and repair doors, locks, fixtures, furniture, walls, flooring, and other building components.
• Complete routine preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Assist with installations and assembly of equipment, fixtures, shelving, and furniture.
• Maintain clean, organized and safe maintenance areas and tools.
• Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize repairs based on urgency.
• Assist with groundskeeping and exterior maintenance as needed.
• Identify issues that require specialized contractors and communicate them to management.
• Follow safety procedures and keep work areas hazard-free.
• Maintain basic records of completed work and supplies used.
