Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs across facilities, equipment, and fixtures.

You will work under the local General Maintenance Manager, following established schedules and using hand and power tools to keep stores safe and functional. The role requires trade-related certification or experience, physical ability to lift, climb, and work at heights, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience in trades (plumbing, electrical, MHE).
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no DUI, DWI within the last five years.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.
• No serious traffic violations in the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using crafts such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling equipment.
• Use work orders to receive, document, and complete repair tasks for Stores and staff.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and inspect facilities and equipment.
• Diagnose issues by inspecting and testing facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
