Job summary

Walmart in Saint Johns, MI is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local team. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure safe, functional, and clean facilities.

You will work under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager, follow schedules, use a variety of trades, and support the store’s operations with timely repairs and preventive tasks.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification and 2 years of related trade experience.
• Valid state driver's license with clean driving record.
• Commercial driving record with no DUI/DWI in last five years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment).
• Utilize the work order management system to receive and document repair activities and support Stores and Store associates.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
