Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain the manufacturing environment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, inspections, and timely repairs to support production and safety objectives.

You will work with production, safety, and engineering teams, perform building maintenance tasks, and assist with equipment installations and downtime reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3 years of maintenance or facilities experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
• Proficiency using maintenance management systems and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on facility equipment and building systems.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, fire protection, compressed air, and utility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility-related issues to minimize disruptions to manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and service work.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and preventive maintenance documentation.
