Job summary

CARC, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team and support the upkeep of our facilities. You will handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks while adhering to safety standards and quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate has basic maintenance knowledge, can work independently, and communicates effectively with team members. Full-time benefits include health coverage, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Experience in general maintenance or related field is preferred.
• Basic repair and maintenance knowledge with safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repair and maintenance of facilities including plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting.
• Perform routine inspections and report needs to supervisor.
• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Assist in installation and maintenance of equipment and machinery.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain records.
• Follow safety protocols and collaborate with team to complete projects.
