Job Description: Facilities Maintenance Technician II

MHMR has provided community-based services for over 50 years, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), mental health conditions, and substance use disorders. Position Overview: As a Facilities Maintenance Technician II, you will analyze maintenance work order requests across MHMR facilities in Tarrant County and perform repairs to maintain asset value and ensure a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform a minimum of 1,500 documented maintenance hours annually with no more than 5% of work incomplete or substandard.
2. Document all maintenance work accurately, including repair descriptions, time spent, vendors used, and invoice numbers, maintaining a 5% error rate.
3. Communicate daily with the Facility Maintenance Manager regarding work order statuses.
4. Update work order statuses in the electronic system daily, collaborating with office personnel.
5. Maintain tools and equipment inventory, with no more than 5% loss or misplacement.
6. Schedule vehicle maintenance with Mechanics every 3 months or 3,000 miles, as per requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Preferences: Trade skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, flooring, etc., are preferred
• Experience: Two (2) years preferred in craftwork or related fields
• Supervisory Experience: None required
