Omnia360 Facility Solutions is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician II for an educational institution in Columbus, OH. The role is full-time with first shift and a $22.00–$26.00/hour wage plus a full benefits package.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in general maintenance, a trade license if possible (HVAC, carpentry or electrical), basic computer skills, and must pass background checks and a drug screen. Driver's license required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of general maintenance experience.
• Craft license/certificate in HVAC, carpentry, or electrical preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge with work order systems and email.
• Must pass safety classes and have personal hand tools.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure service delivery to the client is timely and of the highest quality.
• Perform repairs and troubleshooting of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Minor troubleshooting of electrical systems/circuits.
• Conduct HVAC PMs; replace filters.
• Replace door locks and hardware.
• Maintain floors, stairways, partitions, drywall, painting, doors, windows, furniture.
• Oversee sub-contractor activity, audits, and PMs.
• Assist with small projects and CMMS work orders.

Essential Functions for the Facilities Maintenance Technician II position:

• Ensure that service delivery to the client is timely and of the highest quality.


• Perform repairs and troubleshooting of the facility's electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.


• Minor troubleshooting of faulty electrical systems/circuits.


• Minor HVAC PMs; replace filters.


• Replace door locks and hardware.


• Repair and maintenance of floors, stairways, partitions, drywall, painting, doors, windows, and furniture.


• Oversee sub-contractor activity, building audits, and PMs.


• Small project work.


• Utilize CMMS work order system.


• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements for the Facilities Maintenance Technician II position:

• Possess outstanding customer service skills and can-do attitude.


• 5 plus years of general maintenance experience.


• Craft License or certificate in one trade preferred, especially HVAC, carpentry, or Electrical.


• Basic computer knowledge, including work order systems and email.


• Must have the ability to complete required safety classes.


• Personal hand tools.


• Must be able to pass BCI and FBI background checks as well as a drug screen.


• Valid Driver's License.
